- VIOLIN - VIOLA - CELLO -In addition to sound regulation, the new construction of stringed instruments (violins, violas and cellos) is the focal point of my work. Hereby is the tonal quality my foremost interest. Every detail of an instrument contributes to the overall sound; starting with the selection of wood, continuing with design features such as the arch and thickness distribution, and finally the selection and tuning of the accessories. Through this process, every instrument develops into a unique work of art with its own character.My instruments have appeared in renown orchestras and ensembles such as the North German Radio Symphony Orchestra (NDR-Hamburg), the Stuttgart Radio Symphony Orchestra (SWR-Stuttgart), the Freiburg Baroque Orchestra, the Hamburg State Opera, the Hamburg Philharmonic Orchestra, the Hamburg Symphony Orchestra, the Bremen Chamber Philharmonic, and Jazz String Quartet "String Thing".
